Accessibility Guides
Creating a space with accessibility in mind is easier than you might think. Some of the biggest impact changes can be done almost immediately without much effort, thought or cost, and the best part of designing with accessibility in mind is that it makes a better experience for everyone.
Accessibull Eats researches best practice in designing for accessibility and translates that into a clear set of guidelines for restaurants and cafes to follow. The guidelines are living and will grow and evolve as our research and feedback deepens.
The Access and Inclusion guidelines are split into 5 categories: Visual, Auditory, Mobility, Cognitive and Sensory. Each category includes key points and a series of tips and examples of how to design your location to improve accessibility. You might already be using some of the tips as accessibility is often intuitive.
